Unexpected visits from friends always call for a celebration. When my friend Nakita paid me a surprise visit, we decided we would catch up over dinner at Xochi, a restaurant that celebrates the flavors of Oaxaca with a creative edge.
It was my first time dining at Xochi and I was impressed with the entire experience. The decor was beautiful and the modern Talavera tiles throughout the restaurant made me feel as if I were in Oaxaca. I loved every bit, especially the food.
